2023 — 2024

Mars Markets is a startup in the finance and music space.

• Transformed a complex financial platform into a simple, elegant consumer experience.
• Crafted full mobile UI and user experience.
• Collaborated with stakeholders and regulatory to ensure product met FINRA regulations.
• Created advanced financial prototypes, including a functional numpad for calculating purchase values and updating transaction data.
• Built a comprehensive and sustainable design system.

2023 — 2024
Product Designer at Therma

Therma is a smart home digital thermostat.

• Designed full mobile product, physical UI, and overall user experience.
• Introduced ‘Smart Temp’, an AI/ML enabled thermostat mode.
• Designed features: ‘Family Friendly Metrics’, including ‘Group Insights’ and ‘Grid Forecast’ to promote energy saving.
• Planned from a high level and iterated deeply with the goal of creating a great experience in the home.

Design Lead at LightStim

LightStim is a consumer health tech company. As an IC, I led the team on iOS, web apps, and websites.

• Designed iOS features: 'Treatment Routines' and 'Guided Meditations'.
• Designed physical UI for device used in the NBA.
• Collaborated closely with developers, PMs, and stakeholders.
• Mentored and coached designers.

2017 — 2020
Senior Product Designer at LightStim

Led redesign of mobile app, grew user base from 4,000 to over 100,000 globally.

• Primary IC, leading overall strategy for both product and UI and UX.
• Worked cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and stakeholders.
• Expanded mobile app to Android platform.
• Maintained regulatory and accessibility requirements in design from FDA, IEC, and ISO.

2017 — 2019
Product Designer & Founder at Story Splitter

Helping users elevate content creation for Instagram Stories. Used by over 250,000 users worldwide.

Initial version was designed, built and released in a 5 week sprint. Over time I introduced new features and localized for 10 regions. In 2019 Instagram added similar functionality to their native app and Story Splitter pivoted to a video splitting utility.

Designer & Developer at Corduroy Computer

Co-founder of Corduroy Computer, a design studio in DTLA's Historic Spring Arts Tower. Designing mobile apps, websites, and motion graphics for consumer products.

Clients included: Nike, Sony, AT&T, Staples, Environment America.
