Joined as the founding product designer to help build a strong product function from the ground up.

2024 — Now
Principal, Technical Design Partner at 01x

Formed "01x" to help remote start-ups build products from 0 to 1 with a trusted technical design partner.

Three key areas I can help with:

2018 — Now
Core Team at GitLab

I started contributing to GitLab to learn if remote work works. Instead, I ran into an incredible community and an infinite source of inspiration on how to work and scale a remote team.

  • Contributing to GitLab and the design system behind GitLab since December 2017.

  • Helping grow the GitLab community and improve triage operations for community contributions.

  • Collaborating with dozens of product designers and frontend engineers across different time zones.

Some notable things that happened during the time above:

  • Won two GitLab MVP awards.

  • Ranked first in all-time contributions to GitLab for two consecutive years.

  • Listed as a GitLab top annual contributor every year since 2018.

2020 — 2024
Remote
  • Joined as the founding product designer to shape the design language of the product[1].

  • Created the foundations of the design system[2] behind the product and improved developer handoffs.

  • Shaped the remote culture[3] with a strong bias towards asynchronous communication.

  • Towards the last 6 months at Gitpod, I worked on go-to-market efforts, including launching a monthly newsletter about developer experience, redesigning the pitch deck, introducing on-demand webinars, publishing blog posts, improving user onboarding, and redefining the product changelog process.
