What is the product you’re building?
Felt is the best way to make maps on the internet.
It's still way too hard to make a map, and in this quickly changing world maps are more important than ever. Felt is the first easy-to-use collaborative mapping app that serves a wide range of needs, from sketching out a hike with friends, to communicating next steps to a wildfire response unit.
What does your team's product development process look like?
We collaborate closely between product, design, and engineering, focusing on creating high quality tools with a big impact. As a small team we try to use just enough process to get us into a state of flow and momentum, and to avoid getting bogged down in meetings or check-ins.
We also invest in our internal tooling to automate away repetitive tasks. Check out our blog for examples of things like our awesome continuous integration and deployment process, and upcoming lessons about how to build a design system in a mapping product.
