### Senior Art Director

**JOB OVERVIEW**

MW.S is seeking a full-time, Senior level Art Director to work alongside our Studio on a select list of projects. The Art Director is responsible for contributing to the overall direction and visual execution of projects, ranging from branding, digital, still & motion campaigns.

Responsibilities include holding internal creative teams accountable for executing against an established visual language developed in collaboration with the Creative Director. Additionally, the Art Director is responsible for protecting the quality of work regardless of obstacles that may arise.

The ideal candidate is discerning, self-sufficient, and pushes the way our team shows up while demonstrating strong leadership in maintaining project quality and team dynamics.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Lead Art Direction and work alongside our Studio to research and define visual tone and distinct storytelling elements, while keeping in mind Client Brief and Brand Strategy

* Must confidently present ideas and direction to Creative Director, as well as guide internal team based on project needs

* Work hand-in-hand with strategy and design teams to ensure that creative is executed at the highest possible level, with strategic positioning and design systems in mind.

* Participate in set production, and be present to ensure quality and deliver campaign vision

* Oversee QA, whether post-production or development, to ensure the quality standards of the studio are being met, and client needs are delivered upon

* Every project is a case study

**QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS**

* 6+ years experience as an Art Director in a creative studio / agency

* Experience working on and leading set productions

* Strong portfolio displaying a clear ability to sell conceptual ideas through

* Ability to understand the why before the how, and can make decisions accordingly

* A natural sense of discernment with the ability to back up ideas with reason and logic

* Ability to communicate across team structures, both internally and client-facing

* Works well in creative environments that constantly change and face unexpected roadblocks

**NICE TO HAVES**

* A daily application of visual research or exploration

* The ability to back up visual ideas with thoughtful commentary

**REQUIREMENTS**

Must be online during PST working hours, with a Los Angeles-based Art Director being highly preferred for this position. Full-Time, 12 week contract with intent to hire full time.

Senior Art Director

### Design Director

**JOB OVERVIEW**

MW.S is seeking a full-time, Associate level Design Director to work alongside our Studio on a wide range of projects. The Design Director is responsible for leading branding and digital design projects across a number of industries that are culturally impactful—ensuring the team delivers on time, meets quality standards, and fosters team morale within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include leading internal reviews, presenting to clients, facilitating effective communication, and spearheading collaborations between various team members.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and excels in visualizing concepts while demonstrating strong leadership in maintaining project quality and team dynamics.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Works with Producer to lead the assigned team across multiple projects, understanding the ask at hand and the opportunity to innovate.

  * Leads internal reviews and works with producers to hold other team members accountable for next steps.

  * Responsible for presenting work to the client

* Spearheads team collaborations between strategists, motion designers, developers, and internal design team

* Identify and manage external design contractors when required across projects

* Takes feedback from partners and teammates well, asking questions when directives are unclear

* Self-sufficient and can think independently to overcome obstacles

* Takes pride in the work being presented and believes it’s up to MW.S standards

* Takes lead on Case Study after the project is wrapped and get it across the finish line for MW.S and social

  * Work with whoever was leading CD/Creative Lead to collaborate on direction of Case study

* Leads QA for digital projects

* Work with Creative Director to visualize concepts

* Treats everyone on the team with respect

* Sets a positive example for morale and attitude

**QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS**

* 6+ years of experience as a in a senior design leadership role within a creative agency or studio

* Proficient in Figma, Adobe Suite, and Arena

* Ability to communicate ideas clearly when collaborating with strategy teams, motion team, development team, and internal design team.

* Ability to lead multiple projects at one time

**REQUIREMENTS**
